Text macros in the note editor — You can now pull your saved Athena text macros (dot phrases) directly into the charting editor through a quick search, instead of retyping the same language every time. Start typing and your macros show up as suggestions.

Providers can manage their own AI writing rules — You no longer need an admin to set up rules that shape how the AI writes your notes. You can create, edit, turn off, or delete your own rules directly from your account, and you'll still see any organization-wide rules alongside them.

A new way to write your assessment & plan — You can now set a note template so the AI writes one combined, narrative assessment & plan instead of a separate block under each diagnosis. Diagnoses are still detected and coded the same way — this only changes how the write-up reads. [help article]

Dark mode — The entire app now supports a full dark appearance. It's available to everyone and defaults to light, so nothing changes unless you turn it on yourself.

Amelia is now fully free to use — Since usage is no longer metered, the usage, purchase, and auto-reload screens for Amelia are going away. If you had a balance, there's nothing you need to do; nothing was taken away.

AI note-editing tools now ask you to confirm our AI disclaimer first — If you haven't already accepted our standard clinical-AI disclaimer, you'll be asked to confirm it before using the AI editing tools. The tools themselves aren't changing; this is a one-time consent step.

Notes may read a little differently — We upgraded the underlying AI model that drafts your history, exam, assessment and plan, and patient instructions, improving overall note quality. There's nothing to set up and no change to your screen.

Settings has a cleaner layout — The Settings page has been reorganized with clearer sections, so related options are easier to find.

Fewer dropped or stuck recordings — Recordings are less likely to get lost or leave a visit stuck partway through.

Inline Magic Edit Bar - Now stays open when user selects text field to add content.

More accurate microphone indicator — The recording indicator now correctly reflects whether your microphone is actually in use.

Cleaner note formatting — Printing, copying, and formatting issues, including underlines, bullets, and spacing, are fixed both on screen and when notes are sent to Athena.

Smoother sending to Athena — Notes that hit a temporary send issue now retry cleanly instead of getting stuck.

Schedule and chart fixes — A handful of issues with filtering, chart load times, and how visits open have been resolved.
