Network Considerations
Firewall/Proxy: Ensure your network allows WebSocket connections and HTTPS traffic to *.carepilot.com domains
VPN: If using a VPN, ensure it does not significantly increase latency or restrict WebSocket connections
Hospital/Clinic Networks: Contact your IT department to whitelist CarePilot domains if you experience connectivity issues
Email & Network Allowlist (Email/IP/Domain)
Some organizations restrict outbound email delivery and/or inbound access based on approved senders, domains, or IP ranges. If you experience issues receiving CarePilot emails (invites, password resets, notifications) or connecting from a restricted network, ask your IT team to add the items below to their allowlist.
Allow the following sender domain(s) and sender address(es):
Domains
carepilot.com(allow all addresses at this domain)
Specific addresses
If your email security tool supports it, allowlisting the domain is usually preferred over individual addresses.
Audio Quality Recommendations
For the best transcription accuracy, we recommend the following:
Microphone Placement: Position your device or external microphone within 3 feet of the conversation
Background Noise: Minimize background noise when possible. CarePilot works best in quiet environments
External Microphones: For desktop/laptop use, consider a dedicated USB microphone for improved audio quality
Headset Microphones: Headset microphones can provide consistent audio quality and reduce ambient noise pickup
