August 28th, 2026 - Release Notes

Hi CarePilot family — hope you're doing well! Every couple of weeks, we roll out updates to CarePilot: new features, smaller improvements, and behind-the-scenes fixes. This release is mostly reliability work, plus a few new features led by a new org-wide

Written by Marcus Semmelman

What's New

  1. Organization-wide note attestation — Admins can now set one attestation statement that automatically applies to every note across the organization.

  2. Smarter intake — Staff can now attach patient questionnaires during intake with scores calculated automatically, and an intake specialist can talk through a visit while CarePilot fills in the fields as they go.

  3. A clearer recording-language picker — One consistent, easier-to-scan language list across every recording screen.

  4. Monthly reports delivered straight to your Google Drive — Organizations can opt in to an automatic monthly report pack.

  5. Visit length in your notes — Optionally have the visit's duration written into a note section.

  6. Text macros in more places — Macros now also expand within the note text under each diagnosis.

  7. New billing suggestion codes — Added preventive screening and ENT codes to billing suggestions; a provider always reviews before anything goes to the EHR.

What's Changed

  1. Notes read fuller again — Restoring the writing style providers preferred before the last AI model update.

  2. Improved note formatting is now standard — Fewer formatting hiccups when notes reach your EHR.

  3. Stricter account lockout — Locks after 5 failed attempts instead of 10.

  4. More accurate status filter — Now matches your actual visit statuses.

  5. Clearer EHR send errors — A failed send now shows a clear error instead of a false success.

What's Fixed

  • Recording and audio — Several reliability fixes, including fewer dropped or stuck recordings.

  • Notes — Cleaner formatting and more predictable behavior when generating, regenerating, or editing notes.

  • Sending to Athena — Smoother, more reliable sends, with fewer blocked or duplicate notes.

  • Schedule and chart — A handful of display and reliability fixes.
