Every couple of weeks, we roll out updates to CarePilot: new features, smaller improvements, and behind-the-scenes fixes. Here's the skinny on the most recent release!
What's New
See who wrote each prior note — When you pull forward from a past visit in Charting Canvas, the list of past visits now shows the provider's name under each visit date. This makes it easy to pick the right note.
Undo a full-note pull forward — If you pull forward an entire past note with one click and change your mind, you can now undo it right away.
Organization-wide section controls — Your CarePilot team can now turn off a note section, like Patient Instructions, for your whole organization. In the template editor, that section shows as off with the label "Managed by your organization."
What's Changed
Dashes instead of round bullets — Bulleted lists in your notes now show a dash at the start of each line, so what you see in CarePilot matches what lands in Athena. This applies on web, mobile, and the extension.
Simpler recording language label — The language option now reads "English" instead of "English (Medical)." English recordings work the same as before.
Billing suggestions updated for current Medicare rules — Suggestions for G2211, G2212, G0136, care management, and transitional care now follow the latest Medicare guidance. Time-based codes now need the time written in the note, so a suggestion you've seen before may not appear without it.
Updated disclaimer on coding and order suggestions — The wording now matches our help center. If you've already accepted it, you won't need to accept it again.
What's Fixed
More reliable recording and note generation — Visits no longer get stuck on "generating" after you end the scribe. Your audio is kept safe if Finish is interrupted, and regenerating a note no longer adds duplicate sections.
Smoother sending to Athena — Diagnosis changes and Order Assist prescriptions now go through to Athena correctly, and chart data from Athena loads faster.
Cleaner note formatting — Spacing, lists, and pasted notes now look right on screen, when copied, and in the EHR. Copying also works on more browsers now.
Smoother diagnoses, orders, and billing — These sections show up on every template again. Assigning orders and searching diagnoses work without errors, and rules now apply to diagnosis suggestions.
Amelia and rules improvements — Amelia edits work from every tab and show line by line again. Rules now open cleanly for all users.
