Important: Re-recording a visit will permanently delete any data, transcript, or note content already associated with that visit.
Option 1: Restart After a Note Has Been Created
If you’ve already completed a visit and CarePilot has generated the note:
Open the visit from your CarePilot dashboard.
Go to the Transcript tab.
Click the Restart Visit button located on the right side of the screen.
Confirm that you’d like to restart the visit.
CarePilot will delete the existing transcript and note, and you’ll be able to begin a new recording for the same visit.
Option 2: Restart During an Active Recording
If you haven’t finished the visit and want to restart while recording:
In the recording window, locate the Restart icon in the bottom-left corner.
Click the icon to stop the current recording and begin a new one when ready.
The session will reset, and any audio or text captured so far will be cleared.
This is the fastest way to restart a visit mid-session without leaving the recording screen.
