Recording Your Visit

Step 1: Prepare Your Telehealth Tab

  1. Open your telehealth session (e.g., Doximity, Athena Telehealth, etc.)

Step 2: Open the CarePilot Chrome Extension

  • Click the CarePilot logo by the puzzle piece at the top of your screen to open the CarePilot Chrome Extension:

Step 3: Start Telehealth Recording

  • Click the drop down on the Start Recording button, select Start Telehealth Recording

  • Confirm Audio Source (this is the tab the telehealth visit is on)

The default will be the current tab that is open:

⚠️ If the telehealth visit is on a tab other than the current, click 'Change' and select the correct tab:

  • Click Start Recording

If the Connect CarePilot to Your Visit Tab message pops up, click the CarePilot Chrome Extension icon:

Note: During the visit, you may not see the "audio visualizer" (the blue bar) move while the patient speaks. The system is still capturing audio—transcription happens in the background.

Step 4: Generate the note

  • Click End Scribe to generate the note.

Once the note has generated, you can:

  1. Add to Recording

  2. Send straight to athena

  3. Open the visit in athena

To view and edit the note in CarePilot, simply navigate to the CarePilot Web App!
