How to Use DocuCare's HPI Merging Feature

Explanation on how to merge HPI fields using DocuCare's AI Technology

DocuCare's HPI Merging Feature allows providers to merge multiple HPI sections into a single cohesive HPI section. This article explains how to complete the simple two step process to Merge HPI sections.

NOTE: DocuCare's HPI Merging feature currently only lets you merge HPIs that were created within DocuCare. Both the prior and current HPI must have been created in DocuCare in order for the feature to work.

1. First, we need to enable HPI Merging in the Profile settings.

2. Click "Profile"

3. Click "HPI Merging"

4. Click "Edit"

5. Click the toggle to enable it

6. Click "Save Changes"

1. To use HPI Merging, follow these steps:

2. In the most recent visit, click the dropdown

3. Select the prior visit(s) you would like to include

4. Click "Merge"

5. The AI will merge both of them together!
