Step 1: Test your microphone
Run a quick test using our audio tester:
Speak into your mic and watch the audio lines on the screen:
If the lines move when you talk, your microphone is working.
If the lines stay flat, this typically indicates an issue with your device's microphone. Continue to the checklist below.
Step 2: Run through these quick checks
Most microphone problems can be resolved by confirming a few settings:
Is the correct microphone selected? Check the dropdown at the top of the recording screen and make sure the right device is chosen.
Are microphone permissions enabled for CarePilot? See how to enable your microphone and camera in Google Chrome for CarePilot.
Is your internet connection stable? An unstable connection can interfere with audio.
Have you tried restarting your device? Sometimes that's all it takes!
