What's New?
A Unified Workspace for Every Visit
When you click into a patient's chart, you're now brought directly into the Charting Canvas, which opens in a 'Pre-Charting' status. This gives you a dedicated space to prepare before the visit even begins — add notes, review context, and get ahead of documentation.
💡 Any pre-charted content is automatically saved as you type, so nothing gets lost.
Pull Notes Forward
The Charting Canvas surfaces relevant chart information alongside your note, giving you visibility into the patient's history without leaving the documentation view. You can also pull forward prior HPI, review of systems, or physical exam findings from a previous CarePilot encounter — either selectively or all at once.
To pull notes forward, click the '+' next to each section's header.
This will open up notes from prior visits - You can click the plus sign corresponding with the sections you would like to pull forward.
A More Flexible Recording Bar
The recording bar has been redesigned for flexibility. You can now move it anywhere on the screen and minimize it when you need more space — so it fits into your workflow rather than getting in the way.
💡 To minimize the recording bar, click the X on the right side. It will collapse into a microphone icon — click it to expand again.
Multiple Recordings, One Unified Note
You can now add multiple recordings to a single visit. Each new recording automatically updates the note, diagnostics, orders, and billing to reflect the latest context. For example, if you remember mid-chart that a patient mentioned a current medication, simply record an addendum — CarePilot will incorporate it seamlessly into the full encounter.
Once you have clicked end scribe to generate the note, you will see the recording bar gives you the option to 'Add Recording':
Then 'End Scribe' to regenerate the note with the additional transcript.
