Populating Assessment and Plan Under Discrete Diagnoses Only

Remove the general A/P field so content only documents under each discrete diagnosis.

Steps:

  1. Open More in the top left toolbar

    Look for the More menu in the upper left corner of your screen.

  2. Select Note Templates

    This opens your list of saved note templates.

  3. Click the template you want to edit

    Select the specific template where the duplicate text is appearing.

  4. Select the Assessment / Plan section

    Click into the Assessment / Plan section within the template editor.

  5. Check the Place text in discrete diagnosis only box

    Just below the "Assessment / Plan" heading, you'll see this checkbox: Populate text under discrete diagnoses only.

✓What this does: CarePilot will no longer populate the general Assessment & Plan section — content will only appear under each discrete diagnosis instead.

Keep in mind: Your E/M snippet and note attestation will still populate in the note as normal — this setting only affects the A/P field.
