How to Use the Magic Editing Bar in CarePilot
The Magic Editing Bar is designed to make editing your notes as easy and intuitive as possible. You can simply type or speak your changes using natural language, and CarePilot will handle the rest. Here’s how to get the most out of it.
Where to Find the Magic Editing Bar
Desktop: The Magic Editing Bar is always expanded for quick access, located at the bottom of your note editor.
Mobile: On mobile devices, the Magic Editing Bar is also at the bottom of the note editor
How It Works
Type Your Commands:
You can type changes directly into the Magic Editing Bar. For example:
“Shorten the HPI.”
“Bold all medications mentioned.”
“Delete the last sentence of the AP.”
Talk Your Commands:
Use voice commands for even quicker edits. Just tap the microphone icon on mobile or desktop and say something like:
“Add a bullet point summarizing the symptoms to the HPI.”
“Change all instances of ‘patient’ to ‘Mr. Smith.’”
Best Practices
Be Specific: The more specific your command, the better the Magic Editing Bar can assist. For example, instead of saying “Fix this,” try “Rephrase the second sentence to sound more formal.”
Use Natural Language: Don’t worry about formatting; just describe the change you need. For instance:
Instead of: “Make this italicized.”
Say: “Italicize the name of the medications in the Plan.”
